Post by: northwood on December 15, 2009, 03:50:23 PM
hi guys,
Im preparing to order an overtone 50W..and Id like to know if: it will do a completetly clean thing for funk comping, and, if so,  if only in the "jazz" setting or, can you you go from clean to Overdrive on a gig without having to switch to R&R manually...I apologize eif this is a stupid question
thnx a bunch

Is the HRM 50 a channel switching amp as well, or single channel?
thanks

the entire OTS series is channel switching. the main difference is the HRM has a tonestack for the OD channel (thats what HRM is) the second tonestack is located inside the amp. The tradeoff is you lose gain and the non-HRM amps feel easier to play. if that makes any sense
