Just got a note that DHL has me in collections for $35.00.  I called the collection agency and they said it was for an amp I bought in August of 2007. I wonder why I am getting charged for just this one amp, and none of the others?  Also, why would DHL make a delivery and then send the customer a bill?  Seems like they would hold the package till all fees were payed. But then again, maybe it is not that simple. Perhaps foreign shipping gets complicated.
Any of you guys work for DHL, UPS, FedEx, etc. etc?  Could somebody shed some light on this topic?
Thank You

Wow...your situation made me call DHL....

I just got off the phone with them and they confirmed that they have not sent a bill because they are still in the process of calculating the fees?  Huh? She also said that they usually send out the bill 2 to 3 weeks after the delivery but its been a month for me. Doesn't make much sense...anyway, guess i should expect one soon.

Just an update, it has been 6 months since I received my Overtone Special here in Ohio, USA and I never did receive any extra fees or duty charges.  Thought you all might like to know.

I Ordered a completed 5e3 (no cab) and didn't have to. Actually the shipping was a little less than expected as well.
