Hello all

I want to have a go at building an amp from a kit. I have never tried it  before. I am competent with a soldering iron and consider myself to have a technical mind.

What kit would be a good starter for someone like me.

Thanks

I went with the 5E3 Deluxe, I'm just getting it together now. (Very slowly due to a hectic schedule) It's a simple amp (beginner friendly) and from what owners have written I understand you end up with a very nice amp.

Early Fender "Tweed" Deluxe.

A favorite of Niel Young. Also, there are many mods available for it on web.

Thanks again. There's not many actual  components in that old amp.

I might have a go at that one as a start.
