Hi All,

I'm interested in ordering a 2550 kit shipped to the US..

How is the ordering handled? Promptly? What would shipping be? And if I needed parts how hard would they be to get?

And how is the support? I'm a little hesitant to order things from other countries...

Go to the About US tab on the Ceriatone site, and it explains how to order.
You will be dealing directly with Nik.
You can get a pretty close idea of the cost from the Shipment Table tab.
Nik is excellent to deal with.
I ordered a Pack 1 kit, to get under 6kg in ship weight, and it
was $45 to ship.
Shipped from Malaysia on Friday 10/8, delivered to my house, Eastern MA, USA, Monday 10/11.
Nik will give you an estimate on shipping delay. Mine was a kit, so it shipped 5 business days
after order, which was exactly what he said.
Part inventory was exactly correct, except for 2 back ordered pots, which have already shipped.
Part quality is quite good, surprisingly so.
So far, a very positive experience.
Good luck-
George

I have bought 3 things (1 preassembled amp and 2 kits) from Nik so far, I have no complaints and plenty of praise of Ceriatone products, quality of parts and personal service.
Most of the kits (Marshall & Fender Clones) are very close to the original amps, so if you need parts or want to mod i.e. Trannies etc... replacements are easy to find and so is servicing.
Depending on the popularity of the kit it can take from a few days to weeks, but you will get it a few days after it being shipped.

Don't be, I have had way worse service from shops less than a mile away. Nik is brilliant, even after he's had your money and I doubt there is better customer service anywhere.

It does feel weird sending money round the world
In reality you've always done it, but added the same again for some more local guy as a handling fee

I've bought 2 used CT amps, and 3 in one order new from Nik. All arrived on time and work perfectly
The construction is immaculate, I've taken the back off every amp I ever owned, these are tidier than my early 50s Vox and Fenders, and my PTP Twin II.

In fact given the scale of CT now, it would make sense for some of the big US/UK brands to subcontract or buy up CT (a la Squier) to use as an offshore custom workshop
(I shouldn't have suggested thatm should I?)

Cheers

Just started with pedals a little after a 10 year purist spell, but usually just delay
