Title: Drawing a layout
Post by: kevilay on March 21, 2010, 04:49:47 AM
Hey guys I was working on a custom modded layout and I wanted to be able to draw it up so it looks nice like how the ones on ceriatone are. I talked to Nik and he told me they use autocad and illustrator. Anyone know a little more specific what is used for what and of any tutorials. I have some autocad experience.

Majority of the pain in doing this is learning to use the app in the first place so if you have Autocad and know it , use it.

Illustrator is  called Frustrator for a reason, it is slow to learn and doesn't adapt as well as others to doing specific tasks repeatedly. I use CorelDraw because its superb at customising so the things you use often can be made real quick to get at. It also has much better curver/line/bezier tool functionality than Illy.
