A couple of experimental non standard built cabs.  I love the komet amp cabs with the cab string on the edges so I decided to try it.  Word of advice.. Don't do this with vinyl.  Tolex is like working with crepe paper after a bout of vinyl....lol.

Hi guys,

Yes, all the cabs I've been building lately are for others.  No time for building my own nice gear... Angry Grin
Here is the complete unit.

nice work!

If you have a full size cabinet saw it's as simple as setting your blade to 45 degrees with a sacrificial straight edge attached to your fence.
BUT, I only have a contractors saw and when the blade is set to 45 degrees the blade extends too far out even at it's lowest depth of cut.  So, I had to make a jig that slides along and over the fence and holds the cab at a 45 degree angle to a 90 degree blade.  It works pretty well actually.

I am currently thinking of designs for a jig that I can use a router (hand held) to cut the kerfs.  If there are any jig design genious' please help me out.
