Hi there,

I want to do something similar to the JTM18 (fixed bias 18 watt JTM45) - however i want to use 4x EL84 tubes.

I was planning on using 36 watt transformers and a GZ34 rectifier tube.

Would the top mounted dual 32uf filter cap need to be larger?

Would the internal 16uf axial filter cap need to be larger.

Do i follow the 100k grid leak resistors, 47k bias resistor and 10k 3 watt resistor as shown on JTM18 thread?

Do you think any other components would have to change?

Cool forum too! Thanks in advance Wink

If you want a 36W JTM why not just build with 2 KT66's  IMO you would lose a lot of what makes the JTM45 so good using EL84's
