I can not figure out where how to wire these. For the 6 Way Selector, which post will the starting point? For example, which post is "I" and which is "J" ?

Can you tell me which post is the ones to the far right where I have labeled with the green question marks?

Yeah, I'm building this thing right now and was wondering the same thing...
Nik's layout is not conclusive as the 6 positions are evenly devided on there but in reality you go from 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock.

There must be more people out here who have built it  Grin

Should you just keep the order of the turret board and start with L as the first position at 3 o'clock? The order of wires on the switch in the layout is not the same as the turret board....

Turn the pot fully one way. Use a multimeter then to check which post is connected to the common. That'll be your starting post, work your way around from there.

Thanks.
I understand how the selector works, but what isn't clear is which wire from the board goes where on the switch.

Facing the amp with the guts side up turn the selector switch all the way to the right.. Look inside the switch and notice where the detent lands.. you will see it match with a solder tab. Start wire I there. click one click left look where the detent lands you will see it connects with the next solder tab over.... solder wire J there..... then follow same pattern with k,L,M,N and that will do the trick.. the I on the board wire is I on the switch and so on and so on........ hope that helps Cheesy

Thanks! That was what I was looking for Smiley I'll try that.

So it's following the Alphabet rather than the turret board...

yeah, or you can look at the turret board, each wire connects to a different point which is fed off the output of the ef86. i determained which is which by using the capacator value to figure out the tone from thick to bright. i dont remember the starting point, but it goes in alphabetical order.
