Hello!

I just purchased this DC30 for my 13 year old son - he enjoys playing Nirvana, U2, Foo Fighters, Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, etc...

I was wondering what pedals and/or pedal manufacturers you suggest?

He has a Goldtop, a strat and an explorer so I want him to be able to take full advantage of the versatility of this amp and his guitars while capturing the sounds of some of his favorites.

Thanks so much!

I've tried Hotplates and as soon as they take enough volume off they start to lose tone. Powerscaling is the way to go. I tried a Matamp GT1 with their version of powerscaling and it gave very good tone even at moderate volume levels. Low volume is never going to cut it, you'd be better of with a POD, just don't think of using one live!
