Hi all, just enjoying my newly finished dz30 for about a couple weeks now,and just curious on how hot these amps normally get? Mine gets to the point where the speaker/phase switch is almost to hot to keep your fingers on. Is this normal?

Ventilation OK?

I agree with Nik. I have an Ampeg Jet that runs 2 EL 84's in Class A, and if I don't keep it well vented even it will get pretty warm.

Hi

Yes, avoid placing against wall. Lots of ppl seems to do this. Now you see why we have the top vents for our marshall cabs.

Placing against the wall is part of the look, and I aint messin with tellin people not to ! Smiley

Thanks!
