http://www.molemusic.co.uk/products.html Korina is probably the most beautiful tonewood in the world and the guitar is simply stunning and very unique. The Korina wood or African Limba was made famous in the original Gibson Flying V and as such, it has become the most collectable wood type for this guitar. Also Gibson Korina Specials are highly sought after because of the Korina tonewood.
The wood imparts a warm organic sound, a little brighter and more resonant than mahogany but it is much lighter in weight than mahogany. This is a very light guitar and very comfortable to play. The Duncan P90's can give you a wide array of sounds covering Rock, Blues, Old School and to Funk, Pop and Jazz. A friend could not believe how versatile the guitar was and was playing SRV at one point very convincingly.
Hamer quality is world renown and many people on the forums say that when you have tried a Hamer you never go back. It is a much better quality guitar than Gibson, similar to PRS and the like and many claim they have never picked up a Hamer they didn't like. It is not hard to understand why the the Guitar Player Magazine gave the Artist Korina the coveted Editor's Pick Award.

http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Guitar/product/Hamer/Artist+P90+Korina/10/1 Here is a clip of one at breakup on a Marshall 18W clone. With the volume down you can get almost an acoustic sound from the pickups. In fact you can get stratocaster sounds from it...I am not kidding..
The guitar has been hardly played (very little fret wear) and is in excellent condition with only very light surface scratches and a very small dent on the fingerboard just below the 2nd fret as seen in the pictures. You would hardly notice it but I mention it for completeness. The case is the original Hamer case but it is 9 years old and has a few small nicks here and there but it is solid and secure.
The guitar is very resonant and sounds fantastic acoustically without even plugging it in. This is always the sign of a great guitar. It is solidly built and the feel is fantastic, you will not be dissapointed.
The pickups sound fantastic clean, very rich and warm with lots of harmonics and have a sort of airyness to the sound. The middle pickup setting is gorgeous. P90's are very versatile pickups as when you turn the volume down you get more single coil and sweeter sound. Just turn the pickups up for raunch.
