It's here  Chair Dance

the cabinet is a reason headshell from my super bass, which fit nearly perfectly btw.

as for the amp......looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow to find out, haven't got a matched quad of KT66's yet! could try running it at half power, but oh well.

Looks good.  But is that just a camera angle, or is your transformer crooked?  Did the chassis maybe get bent?

How about a sound clip?  :-)

Yeah, it did get a little bent, but it doesn't look like anything bad

I'll see what I can do about some clips  Wink

tubes came this morning. four chinese/penta labs KT66 power tubes, and three chinese/penta labs 12AX7 pre's.

this amp sounds awesome. the bright channel is a bit less trebley and aggressive than a super lead, and the normal channel is a little more bassy. the amp sounds really 'pure' (if that's the right word) and clear. transparent describes it well. haven't really cranked it, but I like what I've heard so far. It's loud, too (four KT66's as i said before!)

Another great amp from Ceriatone  Smiley

Hi,

A few more amps are in R&D too Smiley No timeframe though - it's gonna be a Soldano or perhaps even a swipe at the Mesas - but a PTP version of it.

Regards,
Andrew
a PTP Mesa mark II Simul series would be a hit

Hey dudes, first post here. I built the 45/100 a while ago, I have built 6 of Nik's kits, all Marshall types. I sold 3 and have kept the JTM45, the 45/100 and the 100 watt plexi. First off, I love the JTM45, the 45/100 is a different animal all together.
For my tastes, I'm mainly a strat player, the 45 is the only Ceriatone amp that I have not taken to modding. I think it's great stock, I could not say the same about the 45/100 or especially the plexi. Anyway, after doing some mods to the 45/100 I just love that amp now, for single coils it's about all I could want, never thought I'd say that. Also, the 45/100 really reacts to the volume you have it set to, at 9/10 oclock it's pretty clean and not much yee haa, at 12 oclock it starts to really have some personality, at 2 oclock it's roaring, past there I think it's just too much O/D, that's just with a strat and going into the treble input. I like it at 12 oclock, you can play rockin blues without a booster pedal I reckon, just use the vol on the guitar. Of course, this is after I did a lot of experimenting with mods n such, stock I thought the amp was in need of some help. If anyone wants to know what mods I did, just let me know, happy to pass on any help I can. Since I started building Niks kits, which was 2 or 3 years ago, I have learned a lot about how they work and have done a lot of mod experimenting, one reason I love the Ceriatones, they are cheap and easy to work on. It's the first time I've been able to get an amp doing what I want.
