Title: Just fired up my BF Vibro Champ Post by: Timd on December 13, 2007, 04:34:37 AM I got my new champ this week and took it to a tech/cab maker to get it measured up - it's going into a combo cab. While there we fired her up and - wow - very nice! Bit of an AC hum but from the moment we started playing it was clear that this little amp is a winner.
The tremolo on this amp is the BEST tremolo I've ever heard!!! My tele into this thing sounds awesome for country. Through a little tubescreamer we got some great rock tones. It's going to turn out to be a great little recording amp. Still yet to source two more valves for the DC30 and just can't wait. Cool! I have always loved the Vibrochamp! Indeed, the trem on that one is real nice. I dont think many can beat that. Except for the '62 brown vibrolux I foolishly let a friend buy, instead of buying myself. Duh! To this day, I cant seem to replicate the trem on that vibrolux. Oh yeah, thats because I havent made the vibrolux! LOL! Soon! Thanks!
