Hi

Just received my Champ Ultra.  Sounds fab, although the treble control does nothing, that pot tests OK so bit stumped on that one.

I had my amp tech remove the drive cap so the amp cleans up which works wonderfully.

The only issue is that this makes the tremolo pulse since the cap is used as part of that circuit.

Is there any way of reducing the drive so the amp stays nice and clean while avoiding the pulse from the tremolo - basically if no sound going through the amp you get a pulse if the intensity is on at the rate according to the speed control.

The boost switch lifts the tone stack, which would bypass the treble control.

If you click the trem off with a footswitch, does it still pulse?
