Thank you for posting those clips Timd. They sounded great. If my ebay bidding don't win my an official Vibro Champ, I'll be placing an order for a Ceriatone BF Vibro Champ.

I should make a special mention that the overdrive in a couple of the songs is courtesy of Tonerider stomp boxes.

Solid pine and 12inch Celestion Greenback.

The amp itself actually sounds quite good when cranked.  I don't hear any 'flubbery' bottom end that some say the Champ suffers from when cranked.

So I got me one too! It's got a little hum but it still sounds nice. I'll get a technician on it soon

I'm not a really flashy guitar player but I do like to play

These little buggers do sound awesome, don't they?

You captured the essence of that amp very well.

here's my champ amp with an M.I Audio TubeZone providing the drive.  You can almost see the back of the amp to the left.

Timd, have you got a wide neck on that strat or is it an illusion?

I've been playing with Warmoth Superwide necks for a while now and love them, I've got very big hands, well long fingers really and find 43mm nuts a bit constricting, 41mm tele nuts are impossible for me.

Thanks man,

Well my audio signal path goes...
SM57 into SP VTB1 mic tube preamp, than into my old Alesis ADAT which I use for AD conversion and than into my trusted RME Hammerfall PCI card and finally into Cubase where I usually add some verb for better feel.
