OK here is mine 5E3 clip

but you should know mine is moded with bigger trannies, so it can take 6L6, GZ34 tubes and I also added so called 'Bruce Collins Vol/Tone Mod.

indeed a nice sound!
It sounds "nicer" than my 5E3. (and you sure play a lot better than me)

Hello everyone,

I’m new on this forum and would like to thank Nik and his company for the great amps we all enjoy.
Here is a lovely Tweed Deluxe which I’m using together with processors and I think it sounds fantastic (it sounds great without pedals too).
Sound sample was recorded with Patrick Eggle custom strat - Korg AX 1500G - to CERIATONE’s MIC 2 input (low gain). Clean & overdrive - neck single coil, Overdrive – bridge humbucker.
CCC 2X12 cabinet with Celestion G12 Century speakers and built inside mic capsule. Sorry for mindless wanking  :-[

Enjoy

First of all, that's one hot looking amp .... just beautiful !!  :o

You caught the soul and character of that amp perfectly on that recording, especially with the clean to slight overdriven sound.
So you like Celestion sound with these amps too. I use a Greenback with mine and I think it works well with this amp.

Great playing too BTW.

Thanks mcinku,

You are very kind. Yes I really like Celestions, my favourites are alnico GOLD (best sounding and recording speaker for any amp), G12 Century and G12 lead 80.
I also like Fane AX100 alnico ad Emience 15’’ guitar legend.
Cheers

This section needs a little refresh...  ;)

I just got my AirBrake clone and it works quite well... here's the prove.

Very nice tone and sweet playing mcinku.
Really like this 339 too. I guess you prefer 6L6s - more power and clean headroom.
Cheers

Thanks man,
it's great amp but to be honest I don't play it much. On the other hand, every time I play that amp, I like it so much. So I guess it's staying with me till the end.  ;D
With 6L6 it can push 26W of clean power which is more than enough to keep up with any average drummer. Actually my band mates would even tell me to keep it down. I have to use OD pedals with this amp for a decent OD sound... if I push it, it's just to loud for a small club.
