tone switch

greetings!

i am in the process of building my first amp from scratch and i have been perusing ceriatones site and forums to read opinions and whatnot and i am curious as to what kind of switch the 6 position tone in the 18 tmb ef86 or the 36 watt variant people are using. single pole i assume right? where do you find these as i seem to have some difficulties finding one that is a decent quality.

Just Google search "rotary switch 6 position " and you will see options like this below. This one has two poles but he price is right. Scott

yeah i came across this too, it just didnt seem like it fit the bill to me but then i am not the sharpest guy. ha!

The trick to that switch is that it has an adjustable stop so that you can limit how far the switch goes over, effectively making it anywhere from a 2 to a 12 position switch. Cool, huh?
