in the fx loop layout which is the first b+ filter cap. is it the can cap? i am new to tube amp building but i think i can follow the layout well . i used to work as an electrician so i am aware of the high voltage dangers.

Well, this is the straight  interrupt FX loop layout, but is pretty generic...

What does has to do with the filter cap, I haven't a clue?

To the OP, why do you need to know?

But yes..."A" on this layout leads the first filter cap (32uF), half of the can.

the transformer im using has 305vac secondaries and i was told i had to put some zeners in the b+ after the first filter cap. I referenced the fx loop layout because that is what i intend to build it can be found here http://www.ceriatone.com/images/mods/TMBceriatoneEffect-Loop.jpg
