Hi,
Got my 18watt kit in 2-3 weeks ago...have been taking my time putting it together making sure everything is right with the layout.

Got several questions... I'll post one at a time...

Got my power supply from GDS, on it there are two 6.3 volt feeds. One is 3amp and the other is 1 amp. I believe one goes to the indicator and the other goes to V-1 thru V-5 tubes...

Does the one amp 6.3v go to the indicator.... and the 3 amp 6.3v go to the tubes?

Thanks, Mule3

6.3v 3-amp winding does the preamp and power tubes (V1-V5) and the lamp. (these draw approx. 2.5A total: 0.76A per El84 and 0.3A per 12AX7)

6.3v 1-amp winding to rectifier tube (V6).  A EZ81 draws 1A.

Here's the schematic for the Marshall original...

You'll see Nik's layout does the same.  He has a non-center-tapped 6.3V wiring to the EZ81 heaters (H1, H2) .  And the center-tapped winding (3.15-0-3.15...center tapped unused in this case) to the lamp and the other tubes (F1, F2).

I don't have GDS chart to see if his windings are the same way.

To my knowledge, you have to have them hosted online already, then you use the URL inside the image tags (or the little "picture" button up above the text enter field).  I don't think you can attach a picture and upload it directly to the message.
