Hi,

my first post in this forum! Just back from rehersal, running my 18W TMB EF86. I normally run only the TMB channel, and its kind of maxed out for treble, T on max and B min. Sounds OK, but I would like some more top in the sound to have a little margin.

I heard theese lovely amps are a little bass heavy normally. Any simple mod available?

You can add a bright cap at the input, even make it switchable.

Or you can add some presence at the negative feedback loop.

Or, just go for a brighter speaker.
