Eric sold out on you, he dropped the Butler and was useing an AC Booster, Echo Plex, FuzzFace, just recently, A Twin, Delux's and a Super Reverb, And Guess what ? He still had the same tone he had with the old setup. and I do agree with you, the Man is a Tone Machine, A few year's back, I got to Hangout with him at a Show he did here in S.A. And i did learn a lot, he's a perfectionist, the Sound check took 3 hr's for 4 amp's and 3 guitar's, and he put on a Show, I enjoyed it very much.

Check out the Musicians Friend website. Somewhere on there EJ has a couple of videos posted where he goes through his setup. I think the video was pretty recent. IIRC, he had a pair of Echoplexes, A Dynacomp, Fuzz Face, TC Chorus, the BK, and a Deluxe Memory man.
