i also want to do this, i want a hot rodded JCM800 2204 but want to take out and save the original board so if i ever want it stock, i just put it back in. has anybody done this? BTW, my amp is a combo version 2204 (model 4010) does nik´s 2204 board fit the turret studs?

i suspect my power caps are bad; my 18W TMB amp started making crackling noises when a pluck the low E string, like it lacks power.......how do i check the electrolitics? thanks!
