Well it all started out with the building of the Creme Brulee and the "AMP Bug" bit me.

Then came the Stray Cat, The Dumble OTS, The Dumble-183, The C-Lator, and finally the Prinzetone and it is as sweet a sounding amp as you could ever wish for. Its loaded with a 12" Greenback and the cab is made from some really old Australian Cedar and some Tassie Huon Pine. The interaction between the Bass and Treble control works well and suits all guitars that I have fed it and the Trem is very nice. It takes pedals exceptionally well too. Xotic AC plus, Blackstar HT Duel etc....

Thanks Nik. Another awesome amp that you have given to us. May you never stop..........

Oh, and the vox badge is now removed. I originally made the cab as a 1x12 ext cab for my Heritage Vox AC15 and modded it last week to accommodate the Prinzetone build. I will post some sound clips as soon as I can.

Hey mate, read the bottom 2 lines of my original post. It says that the VOX badge was on there because it was a VOX extension cab and has since been removed.
Cheers

No Worries Mcinka,

To any one thinking about this build, This is a very under rated amp I think. It has all the tone that you could ever want in a smaller wattage amp and is very controllable regarding the volume but also kicks in when you wind it up and the Tweed goes to the next level. I would highly recommend this build to any one serious about good tone.

Regards

I definitely agree with your statement... I have 5 amps and my Prinz at the moment gets the most attention.
Mine is a bit bigger wattage wise,..... with 6L6 tubes in it and it can survive in a loud blues band just fine.

HaHa, so you are him, the 6L6 Prinze Tone man, Well done, I bet it sounds awesome. I have an OTS special with a C Later all in the 1 head unit and the 6L6 amps do sound great but I am so happy to add the 6V6 Prinze Tone amp to my collection. Nice playing by the way on your clip.

Cheers
