Hello to everybody,

I just received my ceriatone plexi 50 bass 1986 model.
What I can say right now after 2 days of playing:
IT SOUND FANTASTIC.
It sound very loud (as loud as my old 1965 jtm45/100 w).
The sound is similar to my jtm45 (bluesy sound) with volume from 1 to 4 (I can play with volume on 3 with my band) and after it sound very different:
more fine distorsion : vol from 4 to 6  CREAM (clapton), FREE, LED ZEP sound
vol from 7  too much distorsion for me EVH

I can't play with volume from 4/5, it's too loud, even with my band.
but....I have THE Ho's attenuator. I can play at wich volume I want with a great sound.
I have tried the 1986 on a 1966/67 tall marshall cabinet (with 4 greenbacks prerola): the best sound, creamy and smooth (rock, blues, hard rock and ...jazz)
and on a poor old cabinet (bad wood building) I have to change (perhaps with a ZILLACAB from UK) with 2 greenbacks prerola. It sound great too but more clear and trebble than the tall cabinet.

I have not yet explore all sound (I'm beginning to find one of my favorite sound: duane allman fillmore sound !!!), but at this time I can say it's one of the greatest amp I have (old fender, ampeg, marshall...).

here picture of the ceriatone (with my custom nickname plate, with my Ho and the jtm45 with the tall cab)

bye
