Hey guys. I just bought an OTS 50 HRM and was delighted with the clean channel. However the OD channel was sort of a let down. Itís rather flubby and harsh with too much high end. I tried adjusting the HRM trim pots and got nowhere. I disconnected the HRM circuit; and while it helped it still didnít sound what I had expected. I do not have a lator of any sort which Iíve heard helps. But I just read here that having the heat wires in the air will fix this issue. Iím rather confused as to what the mechanism of action is when having the heat wires in the air. If anybody else here has any suggestions please help. Iíd hate to be out a big chunk of money on an amp.
