I have a OTS Mini 20 and play it at bedroom levels. I was wondering if getting an attenuator like the weber minimass 50watt would make a difference to the tone output of the amp? Just trying to get some opinions since I have never used an attenuator before. Thanks!

new guy here, 1st post.

i have a rivera rockcrusher attenuator and it's so handy for so many things.

even my 2 watt vox 'lil night train is too loud for home use when i crank it.

so the attenuator is invaluable, it's like the ultimate master volume, dial the amp, any amp, to it's sweet spot, whether it's a boogie a bugera a peavey a vox whatever, 50 watt 30 watt 2 watt doesn't matter just dial it to it's sweet spot then attenuate down till the neighbours and pets relax lol.

also

i often take the line out into my daw and use nadir (mic'ed cabinet impulse software)  add fx (room verb for example) and play a screaming 50watt amp under headphones, it is AWESOME!! great cranked valve tone under headphones at 3am!

so yeah

the attenuator is the most valuable piece out of all of my gear.
