Post by: ogion on September 27, 2010, 12:01:56 AM
Hello all.

Could someone please explain this mod? What does it do? Is it worth getting do you think?

Cheers, sorry for being simple.
Adam

there are litterally thousands of "tonestack mods" You can switch any number of parts as well as bypass the tonestack completely.

I think "he" is Nik and the "mod" is probably the bypass or PAB mod that is on the OTS standard.

If it is infact a tonestackbypass type mod all you need to do is disconnect the mid pot/resistor this effectively gives you infinity resistance to ground from the mid pot/resistor giving a midrange/gain boost.
