Title: New Member and Ceriatone owner
Post by: bilbal on November 20, 2007, 03:22:12 AM
Hey everyone. My name is Bill Ballato. I am 38 years old and live in Pawcatuck, CT which is about 5 minutes from Mystic, CT or the beaches in Misquamicut, RI - Southeastern CT.

This evening I finalized a deal in which I am the proud new owner of a Ceriatone Liverpoo(u)l head. I have wanted one of these heads from the first moment I became aware they were out there. I am a Dr. Z fan and also very much enjoy Fuchs amps. For pedals I have a Vox Tonelab LE, Fulltone GT500, Custom Tones Ethos, Cat's Eye Mutha Fuzz, Hermida Zendrive, Xotic RC Booster, Menatone Howie, and an Option 5 Destination Phaser. On order I have an Hermida Mosferatu. That should pretty much end my pedal board build for awhile at least. In my rack I have a Korg DT-1 Pro tuner, BBE Sonic Maximizer, Furman Power Conditioner. On order for the rack are a DBX stereo 15 band equalizer, a BBE MaxCom, and a GCX Audio switcher with floor controller. My guitars are a 2006 Gibson ES335 in Vintage Burst, and a Tokia Telecaster in natural. Within a few months I hopefully will have an American Strat (I'm working someone right now actually for it), another 335 or 339, a Standard Les Paul in Honey Burst and another McCarty. I have had so many McCartys but sold them. I regret every one!!!! I also plan to get into midisynth again sometime in the future and recording.

So...that's my story, lotta dreams and wishes but I love playing the game. I am stoked to get my head soon and also look forward to meeting some new friends that share the same passion for this stuff as I do!!!!

sincerely,
Bill Ballato (bilbal) ;D

Hello :)
You have lots of nice gear :-[. I´m interested in TW Liverpull (what name :chairdance:) too. Did You order Your one "in stock"? Not any "tweaks" or mods (power scaling, PPIMV or ½-power switch or something)? I`d like to hear Your impressions, when You got the amp. I´m thinking JTM45 with PPIMV (and some "tweaks" for "too bassy thing") or TW Liverpull? My goal is shimmering cleans (like Vox) and kind of old (gutsy and punchy, not modern) Marshall overdrive sound and not (too) much volume in same amp same time. Maybe I need two amps  ??? ???

Hey buddy it's me Bill Ballato from CT. I sold you an OCD some time ago. I hope all is well and that you are still enjoying the OCD. I haven't received the TW clone yet. It's due for delivery on the 28th. I will certainly answer any and all questions you have once I have had a cgance to play around with it. I have wanted one of these things for a long time. I recently got it trade for another amp I had.

Take care and I'll be in touch,
