At the risk of sounding like a complete moron, I have to ask this question. What EXACTLY does this switch do? Does it take half of the power amp out of the circuit somehow? What benefit does it provide me? I certainly don't notice a difference in the volume of the amp at all. I'm confused.

Hello,

It's way late but here goes:

The 1/2 power switch on the amp is just like the one in DC30.

It takes out, and also change the cathode resistor value.

Thanks!
