my 5E3 is running a Sovek 5Y3 and the amp gets real hot  needs a NOS perhaps

the GZ34 will has more output voltage than a 5Y3, you have 6L6s so they can handle the increase.
Strange that they put in a 5Y3. I would get a GZ34 and see how you like it I think it will sag less some folks
like that and some don't

hi my first post I'm looking at Nik's new layout and this amp looks really good, once again he nails
it for me with his take on this classic.I've just finished a 5E3 used ceriatone and triode layout and its running real sweet so I'm going to start by collecting the parts make a chassis ciruit board cab the big cost will be the iron I think it will take about 3 months.
