Title: Which Ceriatone Trainwreck amp is gonna get me closest to Paisley's 'Wreck tone? Post by: Random Gecko on November 21, 2010, 07:21:58 PM I'm thinking it's gonna be the Liverpool since that's what he owns but I heard the Z Wreck is modelled on a Rocket with more low midrange? I've also heard that the LiverPull isn't so great with single coils - I play Telecasters - and that it sounds harsh, but one guy's harsh is another guy's bright and I love that bright AC30 chime and grind, ya know?
I'm not looking for exact clones of his tone rather something in the ballpark that's gainy and hot when I want it to be and cleans right up at the volume control. Any advice...?
