Hi there,

I'm on the lookout for a working C'tone Spitfire or Lightning head if anyone in the UK has one for sale; would also consider a kit too.

I just completed a Lightning chassis here in Sheffield built with Vox AC15 transformers. I just started the combo which at the moment is just the sides and battons to suport the front and back boards.

It has been made with a Variable Voltage Regulator which is a pot switch rather than the on/off toggle switch. Turn it on and all the way up and it's as normal, orlower the pot and IOU lower the voltage and get a low volume but wonderful distortion. 

Open to offers. You can even have it as just chassis and withor without valves.
